ENGINEERING EUROPES AUTONOMY LAYER
Emmel is a Swedish technology company building software-defined autonomous ground platforms for security, defence and critical infrastructure. One autonomy stack runs across multiple carriers. The platforms are modular, hardened for contested environments, and built on proven base vehicles to compress programme risk and time-to-field. Designed in Sweden, manufactured in Europe, sovereign by architecture.

How we build
Emmel develops software-defined autonomous ground platforms in Sweden. The autonomy stack, the fleet management layer, the OTA system, the adapters and the manufacturing handoff to base vehicles are all built in-house, by an engineering team with seventeen years of production delivery history across telco, public broadcasting, infrastructure and frontier product work.

The platform is real
Emmel has built and operated the first form factor of its software-defined ground platform, a fully functional remote-controlled UTV, designed in Sweden, integrated on a proven base vehicle, and running on the same stack that will scale. The vehicle drives, the link holds, the telemetry returns. The platforms exist. The code runs. The path from this demonstrator to fielded autonomy is a software roadmap on hardware that is already in motion.
